From October 2009, monthly exports of anonymised data will be sent to ISD using SWIFT. This will further safeguard patient confidentiality by making data transfer even more secure.  Improvements in the reliability of data transfer will also pave the way towards monthly activity reports, which are a useful tool in improving the quality of care.
