These pages will contain information aimed for the public. Initially you will find on-line copies of information leaflets for patients and the public attached to these pages, produced by organisations not affiliated to SEAN. SEAN gratefully acknowledge the help from these organisations in allowing the publication of these guides.

Other areas of the site may also be of interest to the public such as the links area and the contacts area. The professional area may be of interest too but some of the language used might might need further interpretation. Don't let this put you off however when exploring and please feel free to use the forum area to contact the SEAN team for explanation or interpretation of anything mentioned on the site.

  This booklet was produced by Manic Depression Fellowship Scotland and Scottish Association for Mental Health. With kind permission of those organisations SEAN have been allowed to publish this booklet in full on this site. It was published in 1996 but most of the information remains relevant. Some of the contact details may be out of date however.
